Boudoir Photography
For ladies who dare! As a female photographer I feel that I intuitively know how ladies feel about their bodies. Us girls all love to feel glamourous but we don't often get the chance to indulge ourselves. As many of my clients will agree I'm very easygoing, chatty and down-to-earth and will put you at ease before the shutter starts clicking. I love the fact that I can help ladies look like a movie star and put a lot of effort and energy into photo shoots, frequently ending up more like a contortionist all in the name of getting the best shot of you! Boudoir Photography is a recent concept where, for example, ladies give a romantic, sexy 'boudoir' style photograph to their future husband as a wedding gift. Ladies of all shapes and sizes are doing it, and I can make you look like a star! We can discuss the location (although you may feel more comfortable in your own surroundings), you choose your lingerie, or your partner's shirt, or a feather boa etc etc and I provide the photographic skills! Easy!

During the photoshoot at your home or agreed location I will use my portable studio lighting equipment, plus my high or low-key backdrops if required. We can try a number of different lighting set-ups and poses and will find the best combination for you. I now also offer the ultimate Ladies Who Dare Makeover Boudoir package in the suite of a luxury Lincoln Hotel (more venues to be added soon!)
Prices start at just £100 for a 1 to 1 1/2 hour photoshoot with an unlimited number of shots after which you will receive one free 12 inch by 8 inch print. All photos will be retouched if required, and uploaded onto a password protected online proofing gallery for you to order any further prints which will be posted out to you.
I can also provide a coffee table book in which your fabulous photos are printed on the pages! What a great gift for that special someone! Unfortunately I may have to charge extra for travel costs if you are outside the North Kesteven area. The only photographer present at the shoot will be me, and I carry out all retouching and editing myself. Your images will never appear on my website or in my advertising unless it has been agreed beforehand.

Hints and tips on what to wear/how to prepare

Drink plenty of water before the shoot. (Some say eating lots of watermelon and strawberries for a couple of days beforehand is good)
Don't wear tight clothing before the shoot - you don't want sock lines on your photos do you?
Cut/file/paint finger and toenails and shave/wax.
Bring your make-up bag and hair products.
High heels look sexy, accenuate your calves, and make your legs look longer. They also make you look leaner and taller.
Bring something of your partner’s with you like a shirt, uniform, tie or hat.
For bridal boudoir bring your wedding shoes, veil, tiara and accessories.
Bring lots of various accessories, you will get into the swing of it and want to try some different looks!

"I booked this session as a surprise for my husband and was really looking forward to it; that was until the morning of the shoot! Then I panicked! What have I done? I even had to have a shot of whiskey in my coffee to settle my nerves. But I need not have bothered! As soon as Bev walked in it was like an old friend had popped round for coffee - she made me feel totally at ease. What started out as something I was dreading turned out to be great fun. And the results are stunning!!
